Tuesday 9/6

Welcome back, I hope everyone had a nice three day weekend.

Today we'll be doing lab on enzyme reactions which will lead into early release day on Wednesday.

C.O.  SWBAT determine if changes in temperature will have effects on the activity of an enzyme.

Homework- Vocabulary and matrix/ enzyme handout completed and checked by Wednesday.  Vocabulary quiz on Thursday.

Homework is to complete vocabulary.

Thursday we learned of nucleic acids, carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids. 

How can these compounds be matebolized so efficiently?.....  Enzymes.

C.O. describe three roles and processes of enzymes.

Unit 2

"The molecules that make up living things are assembled in a highly organized way."  Organic molecules.

C.O.  COMPREHEND THE BASE OF ORGANIC MOLECULES.

The work turned in generally looks very good.  Tomorrow we'll finish vocabulary, do the lesson, and correct the test.

If you still need to take the test,or more time?  Come to B220  (Thursday 9/1/11) tomorrow at lunch to finish.

Microscope lab today and Monday.  If there is something that you would like to try and prepare as a slide bring it in and if there's time you can make your own.
