Finish presentations today, remember to take the notes based on the handout I gave out today, that's worth 20 points as well.

Benchmark #4 is Friday, worth 80 points, 40 questions two points each.  You have, or will have a study guide tomorrow.  Wednesday and Thursday we'll be doing intensive review, it's your responsibility to put in the time to learn the material.

Welcome back ,  I hope you had a nice weekend and first week of STAR testing, one more to go.

We'll be watching "Contagion" for the the first part of the week, then moving into forensics Thursday and Friday.

Welcome back, I hope everyone had a nice break and ready to gear up for the CST week ahead of us!

We'll be doing an activity on the nervous system today, then reviewing the rest of the week for the science focus test on Friday.  Remember the test demonstrates what you know in comparison to all the other students in the state and reflects on our school, just do your best!

Spring break!!!!!!

Here are the questions on tomorrows quiz

1) What are the first two lines of defense to defend against pathogens?  Describe what happens in the NON specific response.

2) Explain the specific immune response the body uses to attack and destroy pathogens, be specific.  Where does HIV attack?

3) Describe the parts of the nervous sysytem

4) draw and label a neuron

Monday 3/19/12

Most of the presentations and poster boards were exceptional today, you should be proud of your work and happy that most likely you'll get a great score on this 100 point project!

Tomorrow we'll be continuing with the presentations on the minimum day schedule out at 12:30

On Wednesday we're startingour physiology unit focusing first on the immune response system.

The project is going to presented starting Monday, tomorrow I'll have some examples for you to see in order to get started.  Remember that part of the grading rubric is your use of class time. 

Sophomores- good luck testing, you'll do great.  You will need to make up lost time as homework for the next few days.

Final grades for the quarter are finished for all classes except 6th period which will be done tomorrow.
