Monday 3/19/12

Most of the presentations and poster boards were exceptional today, you should be proud of your work and happy that most likely you'll get a great score on this 100 point project!

Tomorrow we'll be continuing with the presentations on the minimum day schedule out at 12:30

On Wednesday we're startingour physiology unit focusing first on the immune response system.

3/13/12

The project is going to presented starting Monday, tomorrow I'll have some examples for you to see in order to get started.  Remember that part of the grading rubric is your use of class time. 

Sophomores- good luck testing, you'll do great.  You will need to make up lost time as homework for the next few days.

Final grades for the quarter are finished for all classes except 6th period which will be done tomorrow.

Monday 3/5

Already the end of the quarter, that went fast.  Today we'll finish the ecosystem activity and start reviewing for the BENCHMARK test on Wednesday (or Thursday), regardless you need to pace yourselves and put in the time to study.  This is a big part of your grade for the quarter.

Quick vocabulary quiz, know the words from the previous post.  Test this Thursday be sure to finish all section reviews from chapter 5, the DVD notes, and cause and effect reading.

Be sure to finish the lab, crossword puzzle, and first first section review for Friday to turn in.

I'll be out today, be ready for a pop quiz on Friday (or perhaps Monday).  You should know what exponential growth, logistical growth, population density, carrying capacity, and J curve mean.

Welcome back, I hope everyone had a nice five day break.

Today is the chapter 4 test, remember that you can use your study guide.  You'll be turning in the handouts and study guide after the the test and then we'll do 5.1 notes.

Please check with me if you have extra credit thoughts such as putting together a powerpoint or poster.

If you're interested in the trip to Italy and Greece next summer get signed up early and there's a discount.  This Thursday evening at 7:30 is an informational meeting with the regional organizer!
